New in the Print Shop: Multiple Lighting Strikes Over Manhattan
New in the Print Shop: This is a composite image of 6 lightning strikes that happened across midtown on October 11, 2010 within the time span of a half hour.
The sequence of strikes happened from the outer frame right and walked their way inward every few minutes, alternating to the far left and then back to the right until they hit the Empire State Building. I missed a couple that happened in between these strikes but either way it was quite the show. The green, white and red lights on the Empire State Building were for Columbus Day.
New in the shop: Rainy Day on the Brooklyn Bridge
It was absolutely pouring out when I took this shot, but I loved the lead in lines and the single jogger lending to the perspective and size of the bridge. So I got drenched trying to get this shot lined up.
I like the slight softness and blurriness of the photo which was from me wiping the water off my lens. I also liked that in the background is World Trade Center 1 about half way complete lending a sort of time stamp to the photo.
This photograph is available in multiple sizes and finishes and is printed on Kodak ENDURA professional photo paper.
